Looping Animations, Ready to Use

2026-10-07 · New Feature

266 humanoid animations now come in a Looping version that plays on repeat without any cleanup. Turn on the Looping filter in the Animate panel to find them.

What's New

  • Looping animations — looping versions of existing humanoid animations have been added.
  • Looping filter — a Looping button switches the animation list to looping animations. You'll find it in the Animate panel, the Animation List, and the Animate node in Custom Workflow.
  • Search for loops — type "looping" or "loop" in Search animations to see every looping animation at once.

Why It Matters

Idles, walks, and combat stances in games usually play on repeat. Looping versions are ready to repeat as they are, so you can use them without trimming or blending the clip first.

How to Use

  1. In Animation Studio, open a rigged humanoid character and go to the Animate panel.
  2. Click Looping to show the looping animations, or click Expand to browse them by category in the Animation List.
  3. Pick an animation to apply it, just like any other animation.

Good to Know

  • Looping versions are available for humanoid rigs only.
  • Looping versions are available for some animations for now, and more are on the way.
