Pick a Model and Ratio in Image Studio

Image Studio now lets you pick which model generates your images and at what aspect ratio.

What's New

• Choose your model — select the image model right in the prompt composer and the image edit form: Imagen 4 (generation default), GPT Image 1.5 / 2, and Nano Banana 1 / 2 / Pro (Nano Banana 2 is the default for editing).
• Set the aspect ratio — generate at 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:4, or 9:16. Supported ratios vary by model.
• 3D Prompt toggle — turn on automatic prompt enrichment tuned for 3D generation, right in the composer.
• Model & ratio tags — each result in the sketch list shows the model and aspect ratio it was made with.

Good to Know

• Free users get the default models (Imagen 4, Nano Banana 2) plus the free models GPT Image 1.5 and Nano Banana 1. GPT Image 2, Nano Banana Pro, and non-1:1 aspect ratios are available on paid plans.
