What's New

• Alpha images are now supported as input for Create 3D.
• If your image already has a clean transparent background, VARCO 3D can use that alpha channel directly instead of automatically removing the background again.
• This helps preserve intentional details at the edge of your subject, such as the stem on an apple-shaped logo or fine cutout silhouettes.

Why It Matters

• Background removal is useful when starting from a regular photo, but it can sometimes remove details you meant to keep.
• With alpha image support, prepared images stay closer to your original design intent.
• Logos, icons, product cutouts, and cleanly masked reference images can now produce more faithful 3D results.

How to Use

1. Prepare an image with a transparent background, such as a PNG with alpha.
2. Open the Create 3D tab.
3. In the generation panel, turn on the Use Alpha toggle.
4. Upload your image and generate as usual.

Already-clean cutouts now stay clean.
