Edit in 3D Studio, Reimagined
2026-04-29 · New Feature
What's New
- The Edit panel is back in 3D Studio, so you can refine your 3D assets directly without leaving the workspace.
- Two clearly separated edit modes, so you always know which one to use:
- Shape — change the 3D form. Examples: "remove the bag", "make the ears longer", "change to T-pose".
- Color & Material — change how the surface looks. Examples: "make the jacket matte black leather", "remove dark stains from the face".
- The editing flow now plays out visually right in the panel: Source Image → Edited Image → 3D Result, with each step lighting up as it completes.
- Click any completed step to open it in the preview, including all four views for multi-view assets.
- Shape and Color & Material edits also run faster, so you can iterate without breaking your flow.
Why It Matters
- Less guesswork about which mode does what — Shape changes geometry, Color & Material changes appearance
- See exactly what's happening at each stage, instead of waiting for a single result
- Spot off-track edits earlier by checking the intermediate image before the 3D step
- Fewer round-trips between panels — adjust your prompt and go again, all in one place
Edit with confidence. Ship with speed.
