Usage
Step 1. Open the plugin panel and connect the plugin
In Unity top menu bar, go to VARCO3D > Connect VARCO3D.
This starts the local bridge connection required for sending your VARCO 3D assets into Unity.
At the moment, the server is designed to start automatically during initialization, so depending on the current version, it may already be active when the plugin panel opens.
Step 2. Confirm the connection status in Studio
After activating the plugin in Unity, return to VARCO 3D Studio and open the Bridge popup.
When the connection is detected successfully, the status dot in the popup will turn green. This indicates that Unity is connected and ready to receive data from VARCO 3D Studio.
If the dot does not turn green, click Detect in the bridge popup to refresh and check the connection again before proceeding.
Step 3. Export your VARCO 3D assets to Unity
Once the connection is detected, the Export button will become available in the bridge popup.
Click Export to send your assets directly to Unity through the bridge. This makes it easier to continue editing, testing, or integrating your work in Unity without going through extra manual import steps.
Step 4. Confirm the export is complete
If the export is successful, you will see a notification like this.
This means your assets have been sent to Unity successfully and are ready to use.
You’re all set to continue your workflow in Unity. Enjoy creating with VARCO 3D.
